Time to get digital.

One expenisve item on my wishlist is a digital camara. Actually, I already have a digital camara but it's not all that great (For $10 bucks, it has more than well serve it's purpose.) So I'm now begining the search for something nice but I don't know what type to get. So many different brands and so many different features, I'm confused to which one to buy (But I wouldn't mind getting this brand.)

If anyone has any suggestions, please comment because I'm lost.

I don't know much about digital cameras, but I have a friend that does. I'll ask he and post what he says, or have him post it himself.

Ok, I asked my friend and this is what he said:

"ok bro,

The best place to get a camera is off of e-bay. You don’t end up paying nearly as much as you would in the store, plus you also can get an extended warranty with it. The best brands top me out there are Sony, Konica-Minolta, Kodak, or Canon, any other one that sounds like a rip off brand usually is. Anything with 3.0 megapixels and up is a sound choice, and if he's looking for zoom features you can look for anything that has around 10-12x optical zoom and between 3-5 digital zoom. I got my Konica-Minolta for $95 so he might be able to get out that cheap. I just depends what he wants to spend.

See ya"

I don't understand that crap, but I hope it helps.
