The power of M.U.G.E.N.
I've seen a fair share of homemade games but I don't think any of them compare to the impressive M.U.G.E.N games. Click here to read more info about this intriguing game engine developed by Elecbtye. The program allows you to create your own characters, stages, backgrounds, and music using the same engine found in most 2d fighting games. Such sites as this one use the engine to create their own version of DC vs Marvel and I must say, it looks very good.
Impressive indeed. Those images look similar to a Capcom fighting game but are custom made from the MUGEN system. A friend of mine's wants me to download the program and I'm interested to do so (I wouldn't mind playing the game above or Marvel vs Capcom 3.) About legal issues using this, Capcom has been stated saying they consider this a fanart work and have no problems with it but the creator of this program, Elecbtye, has lost the license usage for this and it seems they're not going to retrieve it back. Technically, this is illegal but I don't its really a big deal. I'll post up an article on how and where to download MUGEN and install it shortly.

That is wicked! The games look awesome! I wonder how hard it is to create your own games using M.U.G.E.N. I'd love to make my own games if I could get them to look like that.

hey on that game i have carnage and get him at sethzakaten.scuffydragon/carnage.html so if you need to get him thats whre to get him. and to get characters on it what do you do? this!: download the character and put the folder of him in the chars folder and make shure that the .def file name is the saame as the character folder exept for the .def part then go out and into data and go to select.def and put the name of the character folder in under it says insert your characters below and x out and say yes to the qestion and go to winmugen.exe and the character shoud be there. if this helped you posta commet saying thank you paulboinske for posting the chars tutorial. bye!!
