Okami: Proving Games Can Also Be An Art.
"Okami is the story of the Shinto sun god returning to Earth in the form of a white wolf, out to restore landscapes beset by a particularly grubby evil with ethereal brush strokes, claw swipes, and the help of a strange little bouncing bug. Sure, it's precisely the sort of oddity that could only have originated in Japan, but it's more than that. A lot more."
That paragraph alone from the GamePro review of Okami is enough for me to check out this unique game. Clover Studios (Viewtiful Joe developers) has made not only a game but a work of art, literally. The gameplay is based on using a "celestial brush" to attack enemies, paint missing objects into existence, and turn night into day. Whoever says that games aren't creative need to check this title out now.
