Who loves game shows? Come on! I know some of you folks like tuning in to the Price is Right or Wheel of Fortune (I don't care how old Vanna White is. She's still hot!!) There something about them that makes people to want to yell at their televisions, screaming "higher, higher" or "the answer is blue you dumb but." Seriously, game shows can get tense (Which makes them so appealing) and theres nothing worse than seeing someone failing on one (Such as this guy http://www.break.com/index/millionaire8.html)
Well, theres a new game show on TV thats been creating a lot buzz lately. Deal or No Deal is, surprisingly, really good. Who would have thought a show with such a simple premise would be so addicitng to watch (And how greedy people can get.)

GamerC review: Deal or No Deal (NBC) My rating: A
If you haven't checked out an episode of this show yet, make plans to do so. This show is really is worth the hype.
DOND is basically all about luck. Contestants are giving 26 cases to choose from, each with a numeric value of $.01 cent to $1,000,000 million dollars inside of them. The contestants must choose one case to be their winning prize (Whatever it may be but most of the time its lower than the deal they take) and that will be the case the banker will attempt to buy back. When they finally choose, the contestants must knock off the remaining cases, losing whatever money is in them (GamerC note: Everyone that has been on the show since it's American premiere have knock off the million dollar case.) After eliminating so many cases, the banker (The dark, shadow figure who most represent as "the bad guy") will offer the contestants a deal to buy back their winning case (Based on how much money is left on the playing field.)

Howie Mandel (The host and bald guy) then asks the question-Deal or No Deal?
If you like shows that'll make you shout at your TV, then you need to watch this show. DOND is very tense because theres no proper way to play this game. It's rush & roulette to the finest degree (Without the guns.) You don't know how much money you're going to get. You may fly home being a millionaire (Highly doubt it) or getting on a grey hound bus with your $8 bucks (Which happen to someone for real on the show.) What makes matters worse is seeing how greedy people can get when they think they may have a large lump sum and continue playing, only to lose all that money on the next case. This is a game of luck and gambling. You have to know when to quit.
Howie Mandel is excellent host whose full of energy and one-liners but it's the intriguing contestants that make the show stand out. Overall, this is a really good show that I highly recommend just to watch once. Check out tommorrow at 8:00pm on NBC.
