MUGEN: How to add characters and stages.

The questions are still coming to me about how to install characters and stages on MUGEN. For those of you that are curious about what MUGEN is, click on my past articles here and here to read about it. Even though I don't have MUGEN and don't know much about it, I don't mind looking up answers for anyone's question. Ask and I'll do my best to find it. :)

How to install characters on MUGEN?

Here is a pretty good definition on installing characters on to MUGEN.

"Characters are new fighters for your Mugen. To install a char, unzip it in the "\chars" directory of your "Mugen" directory. Be sure that all the files of the character are in a subdirectory (of the "\chars" directory) which is called like the character (the name of the char is the word in the file name of the "*.def" file of the character). Then edit the "select.def" file which is located in the "\data" directory of your "Mugen" directory, and add a line with the name of the char you want to add, after the others characters' names. Save the file and launch "Mugen.exe" or "Mugen". Enjoy !"

All thanks should go to this site. Click on it to even download a few characters such as Terry Bogard, Adon, Classic Ryu, and Picollo from Dragon Ball Z.

That isn't enough characters! I want MORE!!!

Okay, okay. Check out this site Maximum Mugen which have over 200 characters to preview and download. Plus, it haves a very good FAQ for about installing stages and more. Speaking of which.

How to install stages?

Taken directly from the same site about how to install characters.

"Stages are new places where to fight for your Mugen. To install a stage, unzip it in the "\stages" directory of your "Mugen" directory. Be sure that all the files of the stages are at the root of this directory. Then edit the "select.def" file which is located in the "\data" directory of your "Mugen" directory, and add a line with the name of the stage you want to add, after the others stages' names. Save the file and launch "Mugen.exe" or "Mugen". Enjoy !"

Man GamerC, I don't feel like reading all of that. Isn't there a video or something I can use? I'm more of visual learner.

Not a problem as I found some great videos on YouTube for to answer these questions. Click here to learn how to install stages and click here to learn how to add and install characters.

I hope all of this information is helpful. If anyone still haves any question, please feel free to email me or comment below.

Batman talk, Superman talk, and 007 talk.

I forgot Comic Con just happened recently. It seems a lot great info was revealed this year that seems to have everyone (As my title suggest) talking.

First up is some Batman talk. The Batman-on-Film website is claiming that Heath Ledger, from Brokeback Mountain fame, will be playing the Joker in the sequel to Batman Begins. Huh, Heath Ledger they say? Honestly, I haven't seen many of his movies (If I have I just don't remember his performance) but he seems he might make a good Joker. I didn't think Christian Bale was going to be a good Batman but boy, I was wrong.

The site is also claiming that the Joker won't make an appearance till half way through the movie. Christopher Nolan, the director of Batman Begins, is providing a back story for the character. I'm intrigue to see how everything will work out, especially since the first film was stellar. Now, if we can only see the fighting scenes in this upcoming sequel I'll be contempt.

Superman Returns director Bryan Singer at Comic Con revealed where the next Superman movie will stand.

"I plan to get all Wrath of Khan on it."

KHANNNNNN!!!!!! Sorry, I just had to do it. I'm glad he's showing interest in to making a sequel but the word that is going around the movie industry is that Warner Bros. may not approve for a sequel until Superman Returns hits the $200 million mark at theaters. So far the movie has gross $179.4 million which isn't bad at all. The problem is the dominating champion Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead's Man Chest, which has been ruling the box office for the last few weeks (And has already past the $300 million mark.) I believe Superman will make it's money back through DVD sales, as the film will most likely be out by the end of the year.

Anyone here listen to the music of Audioslave, Soundgarden, or Temple of the Dog? If so, have you heard of Chris Cornell or prefer his sound of music? The reasons I'm asking these questions is because he has written the theme song to the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale. The song, "You Know My Name" is a collaboration of Cornell and David Arnold (Music composer for all Bond movies since Tomorrow Never Dies.) Maybe I should ask my music expert friend on what her opinion is on this?

Nothing beats the style of black and white.

Oh boy, I want to show you guys and gals what I'm currently working on. While making some more custom wallpaper for my blog, I decided to experiment with images I captured and came up with, what I think, some cool results.

I like to call this my Sin City wallpaper collection. I turned down the color of my images to make a black and white background which I'm loving a lot. This is Dr. Craine/ScareCrow from Batman Begins. This is the part where he asks Falcone if he wanted to see his mask and, for lack of a better sentence, scared the hell out of him. I just love that scene.

A grittier, darker version of Spider-man 2? Looks sweet.

For anyone that hasn't Sin City yet, the movie mixes black and white imagery to give it a comic book feel. I want to do the same thing and will make custom black and white wallpaper along with my usual bunch.

Of course, all of these depends on the feedback y'all give me. If you're interested in what I'm creating, let me know and I'll whip of batch of these wallpapers in a little while.

All images shown are 1024x768.

Extra, extra.

Got some extra stuff I wanted to post earlier but forgot to (Because I'm stupid. :)

Click here for the 1280x962 version
Here are the bigger wallpaper version of MasterChief I wanted to add in volume 5. The image showing now is 1198x900. Let me know if it looks okay because I'll do my best to fix any problems.

If anyone wants to see the end Japanese version of Street Fighter 2: The animated movie, click here. The version I have posted below cuts off before Ryu and Ken finish off Bison/Vega.

Got some free time on hands? If so, head over here to see Street Fighter Alpha the movie. It's about 1:30 but is worth watching if you want to see some action pack fighting sequences and well drawn anime. I don't know how long this movie will be up, as I have a feeling it may be pulled soon for copyright reasons. So if you're interested, I would see it now.

Master Gamer Volume 15: Super Mario Bros.

After watching this video, I'll never say "I know how to play Super Mario Bros. on the Nes" ever again. This person (Whose name is not given) beats the original Mario Bros. a little over 5 minutes.

I've been hearing a lot debate about the authenticity of this video. Some folks claim that it's impossible to get that close to chomp plant without getting hit and others say the computer is playing the game. Whatever the case, it doesn't take away from how cool this video is.

Nintendo Wii virtual library, I'm going to go broke on downloading all of my favorite retro games.

American voice overs: Just missing the impact of the original.

Let me ask you a question, do you ever change the language in a game or movie if you have the option? Do you feel that the original voice acting is better? These are some questions I've been asking myself for a good while now. I personally think that 90% Japanese or other countries language sound better in a game than are American dub language. To me, Other countries have more feeling, more passion in their voice than our rather dull selves. I'm not insulting all American acting, as a lot of it is great (take Resident Evil 4, Naruto the series, and the Metal Gear Solid games for example).

Below I have two versions of Street Fighter 2: The animated movie. One is the English version and the other is the original Japanese release. I think you'll be a little surprise on how the end sequence seems more dramatic with the original music and voice overs.

While not bad by any means, I believe the video below has a much stronger impression (even though this song may not appeal to everyone).

To me, this version displays a bigger impact on the battle and sets the mood much better. There is no difference in both videos except for the language and music.

Of course, I appreciate the hard work folks put in to dubbing animes and games. I didn't realize it was task to do, matching your voice to that of the video. Ms. Chobot from IGN described about her experience on doing a voice over. You can read about her adventure here. Sometimes I wish a little effort is put to make it more furfilling.

By the way, if you haven't seen Street Fighter 2: The animated movie yet, make plans to do. It's one of the best video game movies out there (and last time I checked, the list was very short).

What's on my mind (The new GamerC rants.)

Man, I haven't done one of these in a long time. For those of you that visited my site back in February and March (Mainly my good pal Kallel), I use to write a long narrative about things on my mind. I called it GamerC rants because basically, it was just that, me talking on and on (Just like right now.) Well now I'm bringing it back in new feature called "What's on my mind." Let's take a look shall we.

I apologize to everyone for the lack of posts and comments. One of the main reasons I haven't been up to date is the weather. We've been experiencing thunderstorms (Some even severe) for the last few days and every time one happens (Around the middle of the afternoon) My DSL line goes out and doesn't come back on until a few hours later (Once the storm has cleared my area.) As I'm typing write now, another storm seems to be forming outside. I think I just heard some thunder now.

I'm not complaining though. We need the rain because we've been suffering through a heat wave the last few weeks. Temperatures up to the high 90's and 100's, there is no need for such hotness! I thought it was bad here in the States but it seems the heat is affecting everyone globally. Parts of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East seem to be getting unusual hot weather. Heck, I'll bet even Russia are getting temperatures in the 70's or 80's (A first for them I think.) Maybe Al Gore is right about this Global Warming?

I'm addicted to Rumble Roses on the PS2. I've been playing the game frequently, unlocking all the costumes and galleries. This game isn't worth the $50 price tag but anything under $20 is perfect. I really like this game, being the first wrestling(And only) title I own. The controls take some getting use to and some of the ladies voices aren't that good, but other than that, I really like it a lot. It's much deeper (gameplay mechanics wise) than I thought and some of the girls have a lot character, especially Makoto Aihara (One of my favorites.) She is one of the nicest gals in the game and I just love her sweet nature. I'm definitely getting this game on the Xbox 360. How can I pass up hi-def female wrestlers? Hmm, speaking of which.

I've uploaded some more videos on my YouTube account. Look over to the right at my links section and you'll see it. Rumble Rosses is all about the sexy ladies and well, nothing else. This is an interview of Reiko Hinomoto about her favorite food, color, measurements, and what type guys she likes (*GamerC loves that answer*) I'll add some more profiles later and trust me guys, you'll want to see them.

I'd wrote a few days ago about how I'm trying to get a lot done before next month arrives. The reason for this is because I'll be attending college soon and I want to get a majority of my features establish before I go. While I try not to neglect my blog to much (Like I've been doing lately), Please excuse me if I don't update in a few days or comment. I'm working on college stuff, custom wallpapers, making videos, planning how to make video FAQ's, and exercising (Something I need to do more of.) It is a busy time for me but that doesn't mean this site is going down the drain. More Game reviews will be up soon (I know I keep saying that but I mean it.) If I'm lucky, you may see some Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS lite reviews too.

One thing I love about college is getting your refund check and left over money after tuition and books. With it, I may get both systems or at least put them on lay-away.

Panasonic's 103 inch Plasma TV: Just what PS3 gamer needs.

Panasonic are giving people the ultimate reason to never go to the movie theaters again (That is if you have the dough.)

Does it come with the lady too? It better for this price.

Featuring the 8th wonder in the world, the 103 inch Plasma TV by Panasonic. 5000 of these bad boys will be ready to hit homes this fall. It features 1920x1080 resolution, 4000:1 contrast, and a 16 bit image processing that should make Heavenly Sword for the PS3 just even more heavenly.

While all those features are nice, there is one problem that will probably keep most main stream cosumers from buying it-The $70,000 price tag ($51,000 in Japan.) Now would be a good time to wish Bill Gates was your papa.

The 103 inch Plasma TV will be available September 1st in Japan and will make it's way here in the States by this December. I better get started practicing my letters to Santa.

Don't play games with me! The blog of Cory Barlog.

Want to read about all the latest developments of God of War 2? Then check out the blog of Cory Barlog.

Cory Barlog is the game director for God of War 2. His blog, Don't play games with me!, is his recordings on working on the game. This is very interesting blog, as you read about the daily activities he does and how much work goes into making a game. Read his latest post and you'll see all the run around this man does in one day (And I thought a 9-5 job was tough.) Answering emails, attending meetings, playing certain parts of the game, and writing up some more features that'll be in GOW 2 all in 24 day? My eyes would literally fall out.

I give props to Mr. Barlog, for doing his best to make GOW 2 an excellent sequel and for having the last name of one of my favorite Street Fighters (I got paid.)

Ultimate Setup XXXII.

After a few weeks off, Ultimate Setup returns on IGN. I'm always amazed to see how others around the world are playing their games and watching their movies. Click here to view the latest edition.

This is the Onkyo HT-S790S Home Theater System (Silver edition) from CircuitCity.com

Also, I'll be adding the whole collection of Ultimate Setups on my blog. They'll be available to look at in my links selection shortly.

CammyFan.com: Because everybody loves Cammy!!

(Images courtesy of CammyFan.com)

There is something about the Street Fighter character Cammy that always puts a smile on my face. Is it her long, blonde pigtails? Is it the tight bathing suit she fights in? Is it her kick butt fighting style? Whatever it is, I'm not alone as I found this excellent site about the greatness of Cammy.

CammyFan.com is your number one place for everything about Cammy. Run by Stefan (Or stefan99), this is an excellent site that provides artwork, wallpaper, cosplay, and all the information you ever wanted to know about this hot British knockout. One thing I love the most is the great fan art the site haves.

Fantastic, but some of my favorite artwork comes from Lowena, a very skilled artist who drew this Yuna pic I like very much.

Tidus is a lucky fellow indeed. Check out Lowena's own gallery page here. Along with CammyFan, it's worth looking into.

The Halo Graphic Novel: Expanding the Halo universe.

(Images courtesy of IGN.com)

Without a doubt, the Halo series is a huge gaming phenomenon. It pretty much put the Xbox on the map and is the most popular online console game to date. Master Chief, the hero of the this epic tale, is portrayed as an butt-kicking marine in the games, and will be known as the same in the new graphic novels.

Produced by Bungie Studios and published by Marvel Comics, The Halo Graphic Novel is something every Halo fan shall own (Or at least read about.) Four stories about the side characters of Halo, the origins of Arbiter (Half-Jaw to others) and the flood, and a photographer's take on the war between the Marines and the Covenant, are found in this graphic book. One notable thing I notice is how well everything is drawn. I see that a lot of work went into making these stories, which I'm glad Bungie and Marvel did.

IGN has posted their review of the novel. You can read all about it here. Hilary Goldstein, the person who reviewed it, considers this book a must read. Looking at the screenshots and reading his thoughts about it, I say he is right. The Halo Graphic Novel will be available July 18 (Which is today in some parts of the world.)

Super Dragon Ball Z.

I thought DBZ Budokai 3 was the game that satisfied my Goku needs but behold, Super Dragon Ball Z from the producer of Street Fighter 2. The last part of the previous sentence is what caught my interest a long time ago. A DBZ that plays similar to the excellent Street Fighter 2 mechanics? Just color me purple right now. This is something I've secretly wish for and it's finally here. GamePro just reviewed the game and pretty much convinced me to buy it. Click on the link above to read it.

Of course, nothing makes you experience a game better than live footage. Check out all the gameplay videos IGN have right here.

Behind the scenes of God of War 2.

SpikeTV's Game Head, a weekly show about the gaming world (Might I also add a very good show too) did an episode about God of War 2 last week. The host, Geoff Keighley, talked to the team behind GOW 2 and also got a exclusive sneak peak of one of the game's bosses, the Barbarian.

To see the whole episode and footage of the boss battle, click here. Also, here what fellow gamers are saying about it on on this GamePro article.

Master Gamer Volume 14: Ninja Gaiden 2.

Josh Ballard (aka. FunkDOC), you are my hero. This man beats Ninja Gaiden 2 on the NES console in other 10 minutes!! 10 MINUTES!! I couldn't believe it until I saw this video. I never beat this game (due to I was too young and it was too hard for me). I wonder how long it took him to find a majority of those program errors the game haves? Thanks to taipion for the footage.

David Jaffe: Time for a change.

It seems David Jaffe, the director of the mega hit and critically acclaimed God of War, may be retiring from the action/adventure genre.

"Since God Of War, I have lost interest in the genre of single player action/adventure games. In fact, I've really lost interest in making any kind of game that does not fully and only embrace interactivity in the most purest sense."

You can read all of Jaffe's thoughts on his blog here. He discusses about how much hard work must be put into an epic game like GOW and how he doesn't feel the same excitement a gamer feels when playing the game.

"I just can't play God Of War. It holds not joy or surprise for me because it's all planned out; because I already enjoyed all of the elements of God Of War on the day me or the team thought them up, way before they were executed."

I understand where Jaffe is coming from. It's hard work to design any game, but games that have storylines and character developmentent and etc, add more to the table. In his blog post, he talks about when adding one idea, you have to another of equal or greater proportion. GOW 2 is getting a lot buzz, so expectations are high. This makes the job more difficult because gamers are expecting more mayhem and Kratos beat downs than the first game. It is a daunting task and much more time consuming than releasing the next Madden game (No offense to any Madden fans.)

But another part me asks the question "Isn't being a game designer hard work in the first place?" I understand how he feels but I believe no matter what game project you work on, some tough roads are up ahead. Honestly, Mr. Jaffe can continue on with doing many GOW games that'll sell millions of copies (If they don't suck) for the rest of his career and have nothing to worry about. But, will he be happy making that decision? Only he himself knows that answer.

"So is this a permanent change? I don't know. It feels like it is but I'm just going to have to see. I mean, I certainly want to keep making commercial games and keep doing things that game players love. As much as I respect game gurus like Chris Crawford, it's not like I think the biz is dead and don't care about commercial success within the current field. I do not want to just work on dinky little mechanic based games that have no thematic resonance. But now I just want to do it in a way that celebrates what makes video games great, versus taking elements from other media and trying to squish those elements into a product that- if you do everything right- MIGHT just have one tenth the emotional impact as what you can get from more traditional media (like film, tv, or books)."

With GOW on his track record (And the Twisted Metal Series), Mr. Jaffe has some great credentials to try other genres. Who knows what he'll decide to do next but one thing is for certain, it'll be somethingthing game related.

P.S. Game journalists ARE part of the gaming biz Mr. Jaffe. I see them more of as advisors telling us if a product is worth our money or not than as critics. Just wanted to shout that out.

GamerC on YouTube.

I hate it when I don't make blog entries in x amount days because it keeps me out of touch with my blog buddies (Gnome, Elderly, I am fuel, Retro, Adventuress and many more in my favorite sites section below) but I wanted to get a few things out before next month arrives.

In the last few days I've uploaded some video game footage on YouTube. You can click here to see all the videos I got up now. I'll be posting up new stuff frequently so check back often. Finally, you can see some streaming videos for my game reviews and site. Screenshots are great but I think its better to have some playing footage to see what the game looks like in motion.

Speaking of motion, some of my videos are not going to look very good on YouTube because the site compresses them. X-men vs Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter look much better in person than the stuff I have to up watch. Believe me, I made my videos to look almost similar to what plays on my TV and they look nothing close to what is on YouTube. This is not a complaint, for I love the site and love the fact I can post my videos for free. But when I get some extra cash, I plan on finding a site with tons of MB to host my videos from and show them in better form.

I want everyone to know that I'm not posting these videos to show off my "master skills" or to impress anyone. Simply, I'm doing it to show everyone what the game looks like and how it plays. I don't mind comments, negative or positive, on the videos because some them don't show my best playing skills (I haven't played some of these games in months or years so I appreciate a little slack.) It seems a lot folks on YouTube want the best of the best videos and if you don't post that, you suck. Sorry I don't have videos of me doing infinite air combos or beating a game in record time but I think everyone (Especially here) will like what I have up now and what I have in store.

Once again, thank you everyone for reading and expect some more reviews shortly.

My goodness, MUGEN can do just about anything. Check out this hilarious video of M.Bison doing his pyscho crusher through the first level of Super Mario Bros.

Argo vs i-Pod

I was wondering if MS was ever going to release a digital media player to compete with Apple's highly popular i-Pod but thought "Nah, MS is mainly a software company." Well I wrong about that when they released the Xbox (And I'm happy they did) and I'm now interested in their newest hardware, Argo (Codename for now.)

Hmm, it doesn't look half bad in my opinion. Set to release this fall, the Argo is poised to be a i-Pod killer. It will sport a wireless download feature and a online media service similar to Apple's i-Tunes and i-Music. No word on the price for Argo or it's content but I hope it'll be cheaper than Apple's prices.

To be honest, I don't need a MP3 player but I've been interested in one for a good while. I wouldn't mind getting one by Creative Labs but this Argo haves my attention for now. I'll be staying tune to what develops on this but in the meanwhile, you can read more about this in The Seattle Times. Also, check out what the gamers think of it on GamePro.

EA is on the Wii wagon.

EA announced today some new titles for the Nintedo Wii console, with one game release surprising me. Madden NFL, SSX, Need for Speed, Harry Potter, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR are all going to be available for the Wii console (Most likely launch games) but I didn't expect the Godfather to be one of those titles announced. Wow, that is one game I wouldn't mind seeing how it plays with the Wii controller. I was originally going to get the Xbox version but I think I'll hold out to see what EA is going to do with game. It'll be interesting to swing the Wii controller like a weapon on civilans and other mobsters.

More classics on Xbox Live.

Some new Xbox Live arcade games have appeared, most notably is Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting (One long name for a fighting game.) The game is available now for 800 points (Or $10 bucks.) Finally, fighting fans can now trash talk and brag across the globe.

If Street Fighter isn't your game, don't fret because Pac-Man, Frogger, Galaga, and Cloning Clyde are also available from prices ranging $5-$10 dollars each. Viva la Retro games.

Master Gamer Volume 13: Sonic the Hedgehog.

Oh man, I forgot Sonic celebrated his birthday last month and I did nothing to commemorate the occasion. Well, as part of a late b-day gift, this installment of Master Gamer is dedicated to the blue speed machine himself.

JXQ defeats this game 18:28. Very good although I would have been more impress if he collected all the Chaos Emeralads too (but I'm not being picky). The way how he works through the water stages is unbelievable, truly something to watch yourself.

Consolevania: Proving sketch comedy and games can work together.

(Major thanks to Wikipedia for helpful info.)

I have to admit, gamers overseas can have a bit more creative and intriguing ideas than us here in the states. Take for instance this hit Scottish show Consolevania, mixing skecth comedy and game reviews into one showing. Named after Konami's Castlevania series, the show premiered online in 2004 by Robert Florence and Ryan Macleod and has since leaped on to BBC Scotland broadcast, called VideoGaiden. Before describing the show any further, check out the skit of Mr. Robert playing as Legend, the Xbox Live World Champion from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (WARNING:LANGUAGE.)

Basically, Consolevania is a comedic approach to the game world. While funny, you can tell the show has a passion for games and it's roots. The folks of the show go around interviewing people about what games they like to play and making jokes about game companies and game figure heads (They don't seem to like Peter Moore and a few others.)

The show however does have some offending sketches, such as skits containing Adolf Hitler and John Wayne Gacy. Funny but wrong.

I like the show and hope it becomes available over here in the states. It's an original concept by guys who love gaming and express it in different mediums. You can download episodes of Consolevania from their site.

So this is why they were change for the Snes version.

I was playing Capcom Classic Collection when I started reading the profile for the lady enemies in Final Fight. Here is something that shocked me.

Is it okay to say I think both of them are hot?

Smash my next generation console.

This fall is going to be an imporant time for gamers. The Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 will be released and people around the world will be waiting in line to get their hands on one....To destroy it no less.

What in the world!? Who in their right mind would destroy a brand new console on launch day? Meet the folks of Smashoutstuff.com. They have two new sites, Smash My Wii and Smash My Playstation 3, and come lauch day for both systems, they're going to annihilated them similar to the 360 pics. Why do such a thing? Straight from their site "This is only a social experiment, for the entertainment of the donors, and visitors of this site." Yes, you read that correctly, it's only for enertainment to piss off Nintendo and Sony fans and people actually donate money to them for the cause (The minimum is $4 or more through PayPal.)

Honestly, it doesn't bother me if they destroy a Wii or PS3 console. They're spending the money to buy one so they can treat it anyway they want. I think it'll be neat to see what the inside of the Wii and PS3 look like.

However (Seems to be my favorite word of the day) I know A LOT of gamers are going to be angry about this. Just check out the hate mail they received for damaging a 360 last year. With a possibilty of the Wii or PS3 suffering a shortage, tensions will be high as dedicated gamers will hunting for the respective consoles and the last thing they want to see is a bunch folks smashing it to oblivion (Especially if they didn't get one.) Not all is lost though, as the guys sold the broken Xbox on eBay last year.

Tick tock, tick tock. So far they have enough cash to buy one PS3 and Wii console and are starting another pool to afford another one of each. How things are going to turn out is what I'll be keeping up with.

Price check on Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo.

(Images courtesy of EBgames.com)

I went to my local EBgames today where I saw this sign stating that Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo Elements of Power were now available for $29.99. Wondering was this a local thing my EBgames was doing, I decided to check their website and behold, both games are indeed reduce to the $30 dollar mark. That now makes both the games the cheapest 360 titles available now.

Click here for Perfect Dark Zero or for $10 bucks more, you can get the limited edition version. For Kameo Elements of Power, click here. For my overseas buddies, I believe the Xbox 360 isn't very region coded so it should play on your consoles. A part of me is wondering why these two games are so cheap now? I do remember a lot gamers talking about how good or bad these games were and how game critics were satisfied or disappointed with the final product. Honestly, I wouldn't mind getting both games but neither are on my must have list. I haven't played PDZ yet but I've seen enough footage of the game to have a concept on how it plays. Kameo, however, didn't keep my interest long and I stopped playing after 5 minutes (Give or take.) I cannot pass judgment on the game yet but I will say it was a bit boring. Hopefully my opinions will change once I get both games.

Hilarious Street Fighter Comic.

It's been awhile since I checked out Kikouken.com but it still haves all the Chun-Li info any person can look for. While searching around, I found this very funny yet perverted Street Fighter comic of Chun-Li fighting E-Honda.

Master Gamer Volume 11: Metal Gear Solid 2-Tanker Mission.

Good, googly moogly!! Adnan Kauser defeats the Tanker chapter of MGS2 on the hardest difficulty (European Extreme) in just ten minutes, without taking any damage, without being spotted once and without killing a single person. Did I forget to mention he doesn't have on a radar and he put it on the 'once spotted game over' feature? A highly impressive speedrun indeed. I tried playing this game on Extreme once and the furthest I got was to Olga, where she only has to shoot you twice until your dead. I have to try his tactics because they can help me out big time.

FDisk: Grindcore/Experimental music with videogame influence (Well, sort of.)

Here is band I stumbled on, a group called FDISK that plays music based off games. Yeah I know, nothing new but it's the sound of their music that caught my attention (And would have destroyed my ears if I was wearing my headphones.) They mix their songs with a Grindcore/Experimental twist to it that sounds, well, intriguing. You check out their site here but the band is on hiatus...Again.

To be honest, All the songs featured on their page now sounds the same. There some subtle differences in there but to me, it's the same beat with the same vocals throughout all the songs. Also, none of the music sound anything like the games they're inspired from. I don't mean to insult the band through. They only have one guitar and a drum machine to work with so props to them for doing their best with they have. I guess I was expecting Metro City from Final Fight to sound similar to the game's BGM, but their version isn't terrible. I will keep a lookout for this group, as they may post more music in the future.

Metal Gear Raiden: To prove he's not a wussy.

This is a very funny, very well produce video about Raiden being sent back to the past (ala Terminator style) to wipe out Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3 (aka Big Boss.) The video is in Japanese but that doesn't take away from the sheer amount humor this video provides. Raiden just can't catch a break no matter what. Props to NeRvk5 for finding this.

Master Gamer volume 10: Streets of Rage 2

Gavin Ward (aka. SprintGod) is a master SOR player. This man beats this game in 30:43, on the hardest difficulty. Major props go to him because he knows where every enemy will show up and how to dodge their attacks too. I forgot how nasty Max is in this game. Why wasn't he put in the third installment is still beyond me (although it wouldn't have help the game from still sucking).

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Looking good mate.

In a few days, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest will be in theaters and I must say, it's looking to be a great sequel and movie. Although I haven't seen the first one all the way through (It's a bit long), it surprise me by being an excellent movie with a great cast. Who knew Johnny Depp would play such a great pirate. I plan on the seeing this flick when comes out this Friday, check out the trailer (If you haven't seen a dozen times) to see why I'm interested in some dirty, rotten pirates (And Davy Jones treasures.)
