The "MEGATON" Update.

My goodness! Has it been a month since I last updated here? I'm surprise my blog didn't get overrun with spam posts.

I apologize for the long absence (I bet some of you are getting use to it) but I've been doing a lot work lately, and I mean A LOT! I know that can be a weak excuse at times but I feel that what I have in store will more than make up for my slow updates.

First on the agenda is my new GamerC site. It's up...Well, sort of. I have the domain and url registered but I haven't post anything yet because I'm still working on it. I'll post some pictures of what I have in store later but let me tell you guys and gals right now that I'm loving it! Everything is going according to plan so hopefully I'll have the site up in the next weeks.

Second on the agenda is I finally got a Nintendo Wii! I went to my local K-Mart after school a few mornings ago when I saw the heavenly console sitting comfortably in the display center. I asked the sales person if the system was reserved for someone else and he told me, in what I imagine a god-like voice, "no, it's waiting to be sold. Do you want to buy one?" I was stoked to be honest. I couldn't believe the hottest game system on the market was in the grasp of my hands...And I didn't have enough money to buy it right then. However, thank the lucky stars in the sky that K-mart has a lay-away plan so I put my console (along with a extra one for my friend whose been looking for one as well) on it. I'll have it out this upcoming Friday :D

Third on the agenda is Virtua Fighter 5 is coming out on the PlayStation 3 the 20th of this month and I couldn't be more thrilled! To shout it for everyone, I'm a huge VF fan and the fact it'll be here in a two weeks has pushed my PS3 buying up to the must-have indicator. Now I know a lot people are upset with Sony and the PS3 and many are calling me crazy for actually buying the system for that game (especially since it'll be out for the Xbox 360 this August). But I stand by my word when I say it is totally worth $600 to play Akira and Wolf on my new shiny PS3 :D I'm shooting for a next month purchase on that console.

Now that things are calming down and I'm getting more free time, expect the usually daily updates to return.
