Why We'll Never Hear Link Speak In a Zelda Game.

Recently I've been playing a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on my Nintendo Wii and I started wondering (like many of you probably have) how come Nintendo hasn't added spoken dialogue to Zelda games yet? A majority of games that are out today have it, including long running franchises such as Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid. Why hasn't the Big N taken the step to provide us with a voice actor for Link?

Well, I think I know the reason why. I decided to take a trip down memory lane and watch some classic The Legend of Zelda cartoons on YouTube and discovered how ANNOYING Link's voice sounded. Granted this cartoon is about 20 years old and I used to love watching it on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show (good stuff), but the video below displays one big reason why I think Link will stay a mute for a bit longer.

Think that's bad, wait until I post the Link: Faces of Evil dialogue :D
