Super Mario Kill Bill.

I've always said that the best sound effects for a movie are the ones from video games, particullary 8-bit NES ones...Okay, I never said that but after seeing this clip, you'll see what I mean by my first statement.

Honestly, Super Mario Bros. 2 sound effects makes this Kill Bill fight scene seem much more dramatic in my opinion :)

GamerHelp's Tera Patrick Interview.

For those of you that are familiar with adult "acting" films may know the name Tera Patrick quite well (or if you watch a lot Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes, you'll probably heard of her from there instead). Well, Gamerhelp.com recently had a interview about her new interactive game (cleverly titled InTERActive) and I must say she has an intriguing gaming background that caught my interest.

Also, she's freaking gorgeous!! Click here to read this article or look at some more sexy photos of her (or both if you're a multi-tasking kind of person).

Final Fantasy The Crystal Bearers Trailer.

Wow! It looks like I'll be picking up the newest Final Fantasy game on the Nintendo Wii when it comes out...especially since XIII has been delayed until next year :(

StarCraft II Images.

I'm pretty sure most of you have seen everything regarded to StarCraft II but for those craving more images of it, check out the hi-res screenshots of the game at GamePro.com. Click on the picture above to view them.

Don't deny it my friends, you know you want this game and some of you will probably work this summer to save up cash and update your PC.

I know I will :D

Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition...Stuff.

Rockstar announced yesterday that a special edition GTA IV would come out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 16th, along with the standard edition of the game itself. I was somewhat joyed to hear about this until I read what is be included in the "special edition."

- A Grand Theft Auto IV art book, which will contain exclusive production artwork from the game

- An exclusive soundtrack CD, which will feature new music from today's artists

- A Rockstar keychain, to hold the keys for the safety deposit box

- A limited edition Rockstar duffel bag

Actually, it isn't the content included that upsets me, it's the price of it: $90! That seems a bit steep for stuff that could be given to you for just pre-ordering the game. At least the $129.82 Halo 3 Legendary Edition comes with a Spartan helmet and a display stand. I believe Rockstar could have done something similar to warrant a $90 purchase :/

Yet, with all my ranting, I'll probably still buy it lol.

Smash Bros. DOJO.

(Image courtesy of Smash Bros. DOJO).

At long last, Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl site has been updated (now called Smash Bros. DOJO) and will offer new details about the game every weekday. Give your thanks to Masahiro Sakurai for indulging all the latest content from this sure fire (forgive me for my lack of vocabulary) smash hit! Click on the image below to view the site.

As of right now, SBD (Smash Bros. Dojo for short, if you didn't figure it out) discusses about the basics of the game, the stages you'll play on, and how many composers this game will have (and why I'll be buying this soundtrack when it comes out). Sadly, No release date has been confirmed yet, but with the way things are going, fall of this year seems like the time it'll be release.

Unless the developers decide this game should do a Halo 3 :)

Street Fighter 2 Profile Noobs Version.

I hardly ever check out MySpace layout sites because there is some much junk on them that seriously slow downs your computer speed. However, ProfileNoobs.com caught my attention due to their quality video game related content (also, the site doesn't have 80,000 things going on at once).

One feature that definitely catches my attention is the embedded flash games they have. One of my favorites is this stellar Street Fighter 2 flash of Ryu versus Sagat.

Get more at ProfileNoobs.com

Click on the game to start playing. The controls for the game our very simple: Use the arrow keys to move back and forward, jump and block. And use keys 'A,S,D,Z,X,C' for punch and kick attacks. By pressing keys 'A' and 'S' together, you'll perform Ryu's Hadoken, which can be combo with the fierce punch (if up close). The same concept can be done with all other keys as well (example, press 'Z' and 'X' together to perform Ryu's Hurricane Kick ).

Now, this game may look like classic Street Fighter 2 but don't let this flash fool your nostalgic mind. While this game shares the same mechanics featured in SF2, there are a few things about it that may make some SF purists a bit upset.

First, fireballs don't cancel each other out. So when you throw your fireball and Sagat throws his, both will go through each other, eliminating fireball stand offs. Second, chain combos can be perform due to the game's changing frame rate. A medium kick to foot sweep link chain is a great tactic to keep Sagat at bay, however, he can do air combos on you, so watch out yourself whenever you're in the air. Lastly, cross-ups are very hard to do and if Sagat crosses you up, you have to manually turn Ryu around yourself because the game doesn't do that automatically (and getting attack from behind really sucks).

It may take some time to get use to but once you do, I think you'll find this flash very addicting to play whenever you have some free time or want to beat the crap out of Sagat :D
