I hardly ever check out MySpace layout sites because there is some much junk on them that seriously slow downs your computer speed. However, ProfileNoobs.com caught my attention due to their quality video game related content (also, the site doesn't have 80,000 things going on at once).
One feature that definitely catches my attention is the embedded flash games they have. One of my favorites is this stellar Street Fighter 2 flash of Ryu versus Sagat.
Get more at ProfileNoobs.comClick on the game to start playing. The controls for the game our very simple: Use the arrow keys to move back and forward, jump and block. And use keys 'A,S,D,Z,X,C' for punch and kick attacks. By pressing keys 'A' and 'S' together, you'll perform Ryu's Hadoken, which can be combo with the fierce punch (if up close). The same concept can be done with all other keys as well (example, press 'Z' and 'X' together to perform Ryu's Hurricane Kick ).
Now, this game may look like classic Street Fighter 2 but don't let this flash fool your nostalgic mind. While this game shares the same mechanics featured in SF2, there are a few things about it that may make some SF purists a bit upset.
First, fireballs don't cancel each other out. So when you throw your fireball and Sagat throws his, both will go through each other, eliminating fireball stand offs. Second, chain combos can be perform due to the game's changing frame rate. A medium kick to foot sweep link chain is a great tactic to keep Sagat at bay, however, he can do air combos on you, so watch out yourself whenever you're in the air. Lastly, cross-ups are very hard to do and if Sagat crosses you up, you have to manually turn Ryu around yourself because the game doesn't do that automatically (and getting attack from behind really sucks).
It may take some time to get use to but once you do, I think you'll find this flash very addicting to play whenever you have some free time or want to beat the crap out of Sagat :D
